This little angel would come up to me everyday and want her photo
taken - she is the outspoken one in her group. The children in Haiti
wondered around their camp - it is almost as if they looked after one
another like a big family but to an outsider like me it seemed very hard to
keep up with where the children were going. Update via iPhone

Thank you...

I want to take a second to say a very big thank you to the families of those that traveled with me and stayed behind to take care of things here in NWA. Thank you again for your loving support. Knowing that you were fighting for us and praying it made the work in Haiti that much better. Thanks again! Update via my iPhone

38 Seconds in Haiti

I wanted to take a second to talk about my choice of titles. 38 secs. in Haiti. The 30 Seconds represent the approximate time it took to shake a country and bring it to its knees. The 8 seconds represent the 8 of us who went to Haiti because a calling or better yet a divine plan from God to help those in need.

Dancing in the open...

While traveling to an orphanage out in the country side of Haiti there was a girl who was dancing in an open field. I have stated this before but the children of Haiti are very energetic and find ways to keep themselves busy. There is no Chucky Cheese, or family fun center to take the kids to, so they make up there own fun.

Medical Treatment

This image is one of my favorite in the series. How important is medical treatment, ask yourself if you were holding your child who was sick and you saw a group of people who were willing to offer free medical treatment and get your child on the road to recovery you too would wait all day just to be seen. I praise God that we were able to see every person who had a need while at this clinic. Take a moment and look at this picture - put your focus on her eyes. I praise God for placing me in that exact spot at the perfect moment... © Jeff Papin | Photography

Thirst No More

If you have not had a chance to view the Thirst No More website, please take a look...

Directly across from our medical storage facility which was held at the Church of God there was a family sitting and reading. One girl in particular Pascal seen here had her bible in hand reading. I walked over with our translator and read with her for about 5 minutes. I shared one of my favorite versus Matthew 3:16, she then began to read it in her native tongue, hearing it in a different language was amazing. Even today in Haiti they dress up and walk to their Church of choice. The Haitians are God fearing and God loving people.

Haiti country side

If you get outside of the Haiti citi limits it is quite beautiful,
mountains all around and surrounded by the ocean.
"Sweet Tea" if I could have introduced anything to my new friends in Haiti it would have been sweet tea. Maybe next time.
